My First Journal Entry and foray into DA.

So I eventually made the leap to get myself a deviant art subscription. Who knows, maybe I'll still regret this.

However, I think this might actually get me into a mood to actually start posting some material, the absence of which so far, has been moslty attributable to a lack of motivation.

So, hopefully, in the near future, once I can watermark my images, I will be posting various "best of" photographs which I have taken over the last few years.

I am not a proffesional photographer, so don't expect any earth shattering photographs. My focus is more that of a journalist, marking days and images of interest to me.

My camera is not a top of the range of anything, but I think it does a relatively good job, and some of the images are well worth viewing, for people's enjoyment.

Having drifted thorugh DA for a while now, I have noticed a lot of postings complaining about "stolen" materials, where people do not give credit due.

That is why I want to watermark my images. I have no adversion to people using my materials, but then they will have to request an untouched image, and hopefully that way the appropriate crediting will happen.

So, having done my very first journal entry, and at the same time, my very first posting to DA, I can now sit back and enjoy the rest of my day.
